Design competition – project 10000

Description of the intervention:

This involves the structural design of a multi-storey wood building for participation in a design agreement called “project 1000” and called by Cassa Depositi e Prestiti for the construction of 10,000 lodgings in social housing. The structural types present in the project are of two types: tower building and slat building. The tower building has a structure consisting of a reinforced concrete core and floor decks made with solid slabs of 18 cm thickness, while the tower building has a basement in reinforced concrete and 5 floors above ground in a platform structure. frame, which roughly represents the physiological limit of the specific type.
