Description of the intervention:
The design intervention concerns the structural dimensioning of a roof for a newly built shopping center. The roof has a circular shape, with a radius of more than 200 m, into which another body of the roof itself is inserted, having a completely unique geometry. In particular, the study of the intersection of the two main bodies required attention both as regards the stresses involved and the type of connection to be made between the various elements. Given the large quantities of material necessary for the realization, the sizing was particularly accurate and precise.
