Feasibility study for a bow string pedestrian walkway in Millesimo

Description of the intervention:

Pedestrian walkway with a single span of 71.5 m, built by means of a bow string type bridge, with two main wooden arches, with steel hangers that support the wooden deck beams. There are metal braces both in the deck and between the two arched beams, with the function of stabilizing the structural elements and limiting the deformability of the system. Other braces have been inserted between the arches and the mainland as a further safeguard of lateral stability of the walkway, which is necessary due to the high slenderness of the arches.
