Description of the intervention:
Renovation with expansion and increase in volume of a residential building, located close to the historic center of Fano, in an existing masonry building which is part of a building aggregate. From a structural point of view, in the historic body the existing walls were reclaimed by means of important unstitched sewings on the stone masonry, the mortar joints were restyled and the niches and flues were closed. However, all the floors and the existing roofing have been replaced, and built by means of collaborating wooden floors. As for the expanding portion, made jointed from the historic body, the material choice fell on reinforced concrete, more versatile than masonry in this context with restricted spaces.
