Description of the intervention:
Renovation intervention with expansion and increase in volume of a residential building, located in Fano, in an existing masonry building which is part of a building aggregate. From a structural point of view, the existing solid brick walls were reclaimed in the historic body, the mortar joints were re-filled and the first inter-floor slab was reinforced by means of a metal structure based on micropiles. In the second level and on the roof, on the other hand, it was decided to replace the existing horizontal elements with wooden panels, in order to gain height and obtain a more pleasant aesthetic effect.
