Description of the intervention:
Our studio oversaw the structural design and operational management for the construction of a new building used as a children’s center located in the municipality of Treia (MC), in the Passo di Treia area, at an altitude of 150 meters above sea level.
The building is on a single floor and is made up of two connected bodies, both characterized by flat roofs and a height of approximately 3.5 metres.
The supporting structure in elevation was made of wood, using XLAM construction technology (massive panels of cross-laminated glued boards).
For the horizontal roofing structures, laminated wood beams were used, with two OSB panels fixed above and below to form a “box” which acts as a floor bracing and allows the insertion of an insulating layer, guaranteeing the necessary rigidity.
The tasks carried out by our studio were multiple, covering every phase of the project. In addition to the structural design, we provided constant support to the company, from the installation of the foundations to the installation of the finishes, guaranteeing compliance with the design specifications and the correct execution of each work on site
