Construction of a residential building in Ravenna

Description of the intervention:

Structural design and construction supervision of a building used as a residential building, to be built with Platform Frame technology in the province of Ravenna. The structure is divided into a basement and three floors above ground. The basement has a reinforced concrete structure, with all the necessary precautions to protect against water infiltration, such as the preparation of a bentonite sheath in the casting. The wooden portion, on the other hand, has a platform frame structure and beam and bead decks. On the roof there is a ventilated roof with installation of an anti-fall system. The criticality of the construction site was to build the underground room in an area saturated with water. It was necessary to use a pump system to remove the water for the entire duration of the basement construction operations.
