Description of the intervention:
The intervention concerns the construction of a residential building consisting of two floors above ground in wood and a concrete foundation.
The building will be built in wood, with the type of resistant walls with xlam construction technology or solid wooden walls with cross-layer glued slats. The wall thus created will perform both the task of transferring vertical loads to the ground and the task of bracing and resisting horizontal actions. The walls will then be anchored to the ground and at floor level by means of special hardware. The structure was also stiffened through a steel portal embedded in the foot, thus capable of providing a stiffening for horizontal actions.
The backdrop system consists of a reinforced concrete floor. 30 cm thick, able to withstand the stresses induced by the overlying structure and able to guarantee adequate anchoring of the superstructure itself.
